Or that five ounces of sweet wine may add more than 200 hundred calories to your daily total? Indulging in just a couple of drinks during the week, therefore, can really add up. While it is important not to completely deny yourself something that you enjoy (because it makes you more likely to binge on that particular item), try to save alcohol just for special occasions. And even then, only have one glass of wine, one mixed drink or one beer to keep things under control.
